Aims and Scope
The Texas Orthopaedic Journal (TOJ) is the semiannual, peer-reviewed, printed and online access musculoskeletal science journal of Texas. The mission of TOJ is to disseminate clinical and basic science musculoskeletal endeavors to the Texas Orthopaedic community.OJ aims to provide an informative publication platform for exchanging research, knowledge, and clinical experience across all aspects of orthopaedics. TOJ publishes original research articles, descriptive and systematic reviews, meta-analyses, case reports, commentaries, and letters to the editors
In the spring of 2017 the TOJ moved to all open-access format.
Author Copyrights and Publishing Rights
TOJ applies the United States Creative Commons Attribution License to all articles and associated materials it publishes. Authors retain copyright ownership for their TOJ published article, but undertake to allow anyone to download, reuse, reprint, modify, distribute, and/or copy articles, providing that the authors and source are cited. No permission is required from the authors or the publishers under the the US Creative Commons Attribution.
Submission and Peer-Review
Submitted manuscripts are accepted or rejected for publication following a review and recommendation by at least two reviewers from TOJ panel of experts. TOJ will notify authors of the Editors’ decision to accept or reject the submitted manuscript within 20 working days of submission. The manuscripts can be submitted electronically at Submission Guidelines.
